new trick on the rails

So I just read the TSR press release on the main page about the new trick called the MJ. Boardslide where the rider pops up on his toes like Michael Jackson would do. Anyone got a picture of this? Sounds crazy and dont see how it would work. Maybe it was a joke?

Done it for a couple years on a wakeboard...Super fun trick though..More steezy if you land in MJ though.

I don't see any MJ in that vid

, I don't see how it would be possible on a wakeboard. I snowboard and can do them myself...but in snowboarding you can lock in on your toes sometimes, and there is so little width of the board that it's pretty easy. Wakeboards would be way too wide I think.

and its not a boardslide, its more like a 50-50 on your toe edge.

Never mind, in that video they only tap their toeside edge, the way the press release read it sounded like they slide the whole thing that way

No there isn't. MJ's are done with your board perpendicular to the rail like a 50-50, not parallel like a boardslide.

Heel edge is called a Janet Jackson I think, can someone confirm?

The true MJ is a boardslide, this was a last minute tribute to him the day of his death. Most of us doing it had never tried it before but everyone who competed Thursday hit it on the same box. I cant remember if it was Tom or Gabe who came up with the idea but it was all in good fun.
