I've got a 95 Sport Nautique with a Pro Boss engine, and I'm having trouble changing the transmission fluid. The only way I know of draining the fluid is to siphon it out, but I can't seem to get any suction. If anybody's got any advice or if anybody knows anybody that has a Nautique that is about as old as mine please let me know.

Thanks

Mike: Make sure you have a good fluid pump, I have the Jabsco hand pump and it works great for changing the fluid in my 2002 Air nautique. 5 min and your done. I use the same pump to change the Motor oil

on my PCM Power Shift tranny there is a drain plug. pumping it out might not be really that good since you wouldn't get all the crap in the bottom of the case. Look for a drain plug, mine was on the bottom and only took one of this special alan keys.

Get your hands on a drill pump and changing tranny fluid AND crankcase oil will be a snap!

Jabsco makes a good one you can get at a number of places. Check it out.

Thanks for the advice, the fluid still looks good, I'm just paranoid about the life of my engine because I run it with so much weight in the boat.
