What other brand boots will fit on a ronix board?

Hey all,
Got a buddy looking into a new board. It's a ronix deck but he is looking at other brands for boots. Is this possible? Or will other brand boots not be compatible with ronix? Thanks!

Pretty much every other brand of binding will fit it. In 2009 they all went to the 6in bolt pattern, and everything previous to that were 8in. The 2 sizes will both work on all the new boards after 2009, but you wont get all the stance options of a 6x6 or 8x8. If the bindings are newer than 2009 as well as the board, you wont have any issues. The only exception to the bindings i see is slingshots older bindings with the 4 bolt pattern. Maybe some slingshot guys can chime in and clarify the issues there, but other than that your good.
