I have only tried to wakesurf 2 times so I may be getting a bit anxious. I have tried to wakesurf with a Hyperlite Broadcast 4'9" board. I am 6' @ 220lbs. Getting up on the board is easy. Riding while being towed is easy. Going ropeless is the mystery.

Thanks.

Keep trying...you'll get it. And when you do...you will be hooked! I assure you that most people took more than 2 days of surfing to go wireless for any length of time. Post some pics and videos, you will get plenty of help from this forum. My initial tip would be to try and keep the board tracking towards the wake (not out in the "flats") and in the "pocket" (the fat part of the wake). Hope this helps.
