I just got a text message from Rusty Malinoski. He's sitting in the boat with Parks and Harf and said he just landed his third 1080! I replied, "Parks? Danny? Those names mean nothing. You're the man!" Of course, I told him not to mention to Parks and Danny that I said that! :-)

Dave did he say if it was t/s, switch toe, heel? on film? Very cool, we just might see it attempted in Portland, lot of $ at stake. Risk v. reward. Stoked on the Portland stop best on the tour, IMO.

He did it switch toeside behind his X-Star at 24 mph with 83 feet of line on Lake Minniehaha. Adam Dodd was shooting for an Australian TV show, so it's all on film. Hopefully, we will be able to bring it to you.

I just spent the weekend in Kelowna with Rusty and his lovely Fiancee, had the best time ever out there. I have known Rusty since he was 15 years old, and is one of the best friends i have had. He has worked hard to get to where he is now. I just talked to him, and he is just stoked about stomping another 1080. it isnt going to be long until they start showing up in double up contests or at the end of his runs, if there is anyone who can do it, it is Rusty or Danny. Those two guys are on the top of their game and are pushing everything to a new level. Keep them coming Rusty, see ya soon kid. PEACE!!

Rusty, if you would spend a little time in the gym you might get out of this 1080 rut, and move on to 1260's.

Do any of you ever wonder where the sport is headed in regards to big tricks?........like I remember back in the 80's someone asking me if it were possible to back flip a dirtbike....to which I replied "NO....unless totally by accident!" Well that's been put to bed many times, and every FMX guy flips...some with 360's and many variations....and I guess Pastrana will be doing variations of the double backflip at Summer X!

Now that 10's are being stomped by a few guys.....what's next? Off axis 12's with grabs? How big can this stuff go?....Will Dallas or Amber start stomping 10's too?

We have always said that the first time is luck, the second time is coincidence, and on the third time it's dialed. So congrats Rusty, way to dial it in.
