Thanks guys,

I took it out tuesday and it was about 85 that day. It has been only in the 60's all the other days. I like to think the Boat God's were look down on me that day.

Diggs you are right about west coast boat. Alan down at Southern Ski Boats in Richmond Va. is responsible for getting more on the east coast.(well at least in this area) I'm very happy with it and the word is spreading on the east coast.

I boat at Lake Anna , Va. so if you see me out wave me down.

Dont you think the lake lost it's virginity? You just inserted a boat into it. But you did insert passengers into the boat, so...

What the heck, nice boat, have fun.

Hey Claude, you need to mention the water temp to get your street cred up. Wasn't it around 60?

Ewing, if you've never been to Anna, take some friendly vacation advice: If you go in the months of July or August, stay on the public side. The private side water temps run in the upper 90's to low 100's during those months (no B.S.). It is effectively wakeboarding in a hot tub. The public side can get up to the low 90's in the shallow areas.

Wow thats crazy is it a really shallow lake or something? Why does it get so warm?

Pete, thats funny....I did a malibu demo day yesterday in 39 degree water, with a wetsuit. Stupidest thing ive done in a long time but i would do it all over again given the opportunity.

Is that the 23 footer and did you get the 2-speed tranny? What are your thoughts? I plan on picking up a new 06 B52 v23 with the 375hp in a few days. Ice just melted on the lakes,(gotta love Michigan winters) time to put away the skates and get out the boards! Let her Ripp!!!

Dan - yea the water was around 60 - That's cold for me.

Matt P - it's the 23 footer THe B52 V23 - didn't get the 2 speed. Only had it out 3 times so far but seems to have enough power.

Daniel Perry - Nuclear power plant = warm

Hey Claude,
nice boat! great choice! MB's are sweet!
Did the Pro Series tower change for 2007?
Yours looks better than the '05's and '06's.
I see a bowed horizontal bar above the board racks... that isn't there on the older towers.

Browny - yea they did, not sure why but think it was to sturdy it up more I guess

Lake Anna is split into 2 lakes: a public side & a private side.

Like Claude said, there is a Nuclear Power Plant on the lake (see http://www.dom.com/about/stations/nuclear/northanna/index.jsp ), and it uses the public side input as a cooling source. The heated water is discharged in to the private side, usually 14 - 16 degrees warmer. So, when its 90 on the public side, its 100+ on the private.
And its really only 50 or 60 feet at its deepest point.
