I can almost stick a ts 3. I pop good, stay on axis, get the handle and land, but I'm always leaning a little bit back and I fall backwards. I try and make myself look away from the boat, but I can't make myself do it. Anyone got any tips?

are leaning back and almost sitting on the tail? i was doing this the weekend before i landed it. you just need to straighten up alittle bit more, at first it feels almost like your going to dig the nose but you probably won't. just practice you're almost there

no, not falling back on the tail, falling my butt back towards the wake, like falling over my heel edge.

o then you may be starting your rotation just alittle bit too soon and its kicking you alittle bit off axis. either that or your slightly over rotating. complete the spin and try to edge away on your ts edge, it doesn't have to be a hard ts edge just alittle to help ride it away.

I used to do the same thing. Now I wait longer to start my spin, and I am fine. I wait until I am at the very peak of my jump before i start the rotation. I pop up, wait until I can see the 2nd wake below me. Then pull the handle and spin.

you could do it that way or just spin slower.

Thane, you want to land like you are cutting up the wake. Also don't throw it. Wait a little more then make sure you use the handle to initiate the rotation. Or just go for the 5.

try and keep the handle on the small of your back after you make the pass. Most people instinctively bring the handle back around in front of them, this causes over rotation. You are almost better off under rotating a ts 3, it makes it easier to stay on edge when you land. So my advice is to a) keep the handle on the small of your back after you make the pass and b)pick a distinct object on the shore, preferably a small distance behind where you will be, and look for it after the pass.

tried a couple, my rotation is stopping at the right point now, but I'm riding away without the handle. I don't think I need any more advice. I just gotta put it together now.

thanks scott.

thane, i was told to stomp a little more with the front foot.. this even'd up the weight, rather than keeping it on my back foot.

give it a go, who knows
