New setup for 2010 all new from ground up.
1 zx 500x1 sub
1zx 650x4 cabin speakers
1zx 550x2 pro 80s
1 alpine type r 12 in sub in custom box
1 alpine head unit
6 ss 650 6 1/2 wetsounds
alpine rf remote a must have in boat
pair pro 80s
3 interstate batterys 29 group

It sounds great the type r sub pounds in a custom ported box built to alpine specs. Cant wait to get on the water and let it rip.

On that run up the gunnel to the tower did you consider techflex instead of the split loom? Split loom (IME and all that) gets brittle and cracks and looks sorta ghetto too. you could get 3/8" techflex here for cheap.

Not tryin' to be a hater, and I'll bet the system rox! Hope to have pics of my winter rebuild up before the weekend's out. I'm runnin' the kicker amps too.

damn! how many pre-outs does that headunit have!?

having just replaced my amp in the battery compartment, i know what a sheer PITA wireing in that little compartment is. my back still hurts! props for patience for sure!

Looks good....

Is that a sac right next to your amps? Man, you're brave. All my sacs leak at least a little.

Looks Really Good!
Couple questions though. Are you using a battery Isolator/Seperator? I tried to see where your Amp Wires connected to the battery, but didn't see it. Just curious if I was missing something. Also what gauge speaker wire did you run in your tower.
I am trying to get mine set up to do pretty much the same thing.

Hey congrats on the new setup!

To answer Steve, WS recommends 12 guage to their speakers

Very Nice! I love the 9886. I'm sure you want to spend more money so this would go nicely in the spot of that clairon control. http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/mc1

Ditch that sac and throw a few POP bags in there.

Still curious were your amp power wires hook up to. Do they go to your perko? I just see one wire going to your stereo batteries and it looks like a 0 awg wire. Just trying to get some details befor I do mine.

I am able to get the three hours playtime by turning the cabim speakers off that only leaves 2 amps that helps with the amp draw. The pro 80s are more than enough when parked in the cove.
