Does it cost money just to list it?

Yea, I think its a flat fee of $40 for a boat. And then 1% of the closing cost.

I just checked ebay.

To list the boat, it will cost $40. If the boat sells, it will cost an additional $50 transaction fee.

If you want me to list it on ebay. Send me an email at leo0648@chater.net

The only problem is that it is winter time and I don't know how many buyers are out there. Im guessing that 55k is a pretty good deal on this boat, so it should sell even though it is winter time.

Man I can't believe you still haven't sold that boat! I would have been all over it earlier this year if I hadn't already bought mine. Great price for a very nice boat.

damn I wish I had that kind of money right now. That is an awesome deal. How has nobody bought that thing yet? I will keep my eye out. It is a little far from where I am, but 2006 VLX's are more expensive than that up here.

I thought those rims were supposed to add curb appeal and make the boat easy to sell?

Great Boat Trent - one of the best looking BU's I have seen. I am in Canada and would definitely be interested in your boat if you still have it in the spring.

Trent.....I have been watching your threads.....and I dont know what you have been offered for the boat....but I am pretty sure the offers that you
received or will receive are people interested in buying your boat but thats all they or the market is willing to pay. Right off the bat you said 54000 a few weeks ago now 55.....yes it is winter but its been for sale for a while.....and your not stuck with it ....but if you keep it for the next 20 years you will lose 40000...while today you could have accepted 49000 or 50000 or whatever you have been offered.....and moved on.
Anyways my post in no way is meant to be nasty or anything just some honest thoughts

I guess what I am trying to say is you have to be flexible with the price....if you really want to sell it. But if you dont really have to sell it but are just trying to see whats out there then you prob. wont sell for 55. .......which is what the market is saying.

I have to say that si one of the nicest color schemes I have seen on a bu. If I were in the market I would jump on this in a heart beat. Dont lower your price much, you are giving a good deal to someone at 55. If you can go lower then by all means let it go but you are not over priced at all.

Cliff- I wouldn't ask them to do that for me, but I'm sure they would.

Shawn- that and a business, thanks for the congrats.

Michael Z- I said 54k and no one on this site has bought it, so I said I would pay someone 55k if they found me a buyer, obviously from not on this site, maybe they know a coworker, friend or just an acquaintance. (55k minus 1000 to find a buyer = 54k) I am quite confident that after the winter boat show and people go find out how much a new one is that I won't have a hard time selling it

......well I wish you all the best....your prob. right! ...that aside ...I even love your boat...she is a beauty...it is hard to believe she didn't go yet!....to think someone here in canada could buy it for 53,ooo and change is an awsome deal.....

thanks, I love it and probably really don't want it to sell or I would try a little harder. I'm just hoping it will so it will push me to start a business idea I have.
