Hi Folks--

My boyfriend and I recently moved to St. Pete and were wondering if any of you could recommend a person or place who either gives wakeboard lessons or offers rides in the St. Pete area. We've been over to the OWC in Orlando quite a few times, but we'd love to find someone local to go out with. If anyone has any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated!

hey there, Jill, there are a lot of riders in that area. As far as lessons go, I'm not really sure I can help you out, it's been awhile since I've been down there. There used to be a few places that did lessons, though... one being on Lake Seminole. My buddy Mike lives down there but I don't know how often he checks ww.com anymore. If you want to make the trip across the bridge over to Brandon, there are plenty of people on my lake that would take you out and give you lessons. Good luck and welcome to Tampa Bay!
