Ok, so I know any kind of sliding will damage a board, but does everyone go through the same damage we went through last week. Just from sliding (no real bad falls) our boards started to delaminate and splinter on the edges. Molded in fins also took a beating. We used a vinal top coat on the rail but we found it to be a bit soft. Would a harder surface be more forgiving on a board? you would think not, but it would be nice to know.
