Just thought this was important to share, as lately I have grown to be pessimistic regarding customer service. I originally ordered a boat cover and a single Wetsounds pro 485 from Monster Tower online. I was called today and told that the pro 485 was backordered at least 15 days. I was bummed, as it was the only missing piece to this summer's system. The kind lady, Sandy, was great about cancelling the order for the speaker and shipped me a free calendar. (Yea, I know, the year is half over. But it’s the little things that make me happy.)
I then searched semi-local, calling Acme in Sacramento to see if they had the unit in stock. Spoke to Ben, who was great but said they didn’t have it either. Ben gave me a great reference to Car Audio Outlaws in Modesto. Gave them a call and they said they had one and would be sending a guy to their warehouse to get it. When I got there, I was told a search of the warehouse didn’t locate the speaker. The guy, I didn’t catch his name, was apologetic and immediately made me another deal....
I walked out of the store with a new pair of Wetsounds Rev 8's!!! With swivel clamp, for the same price as the pro 485. I think I'm still grinning. Can’t wait to get these things hung and piss off all my neighbors.
Great customer service all the way around. Tim at Wetsounds should be stoked to have such great vendors carrying their product. Just had to put all this out there, thanks for reading.
