Need some audio help!

Link to unit: http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_product_details.jsp?cid=40634

I have this headunit in my boat and it does not appear to have any standard RCA cables coming out of the back. The only accessory I can find for it is the wired remote control. I would prefer not to replace the headunit unless I absolutely have to.

I have a MS Zune and it connects to PC etc with the standard headphone jack.

The only empty spot I can see on the back of the unit appears to be a 14 pin slot (round).

Thanks in advance!

Just stumbled across this and it might do it:

Anyone that have this model confirm?

It says 13 PIN and I counted 14 but it was really like 4 rows of 3 or 3 rows of 4 and then 1 PIN on each side of the middle row.

I don't have that model Kenwood, but in my Supra's Kenwood I used that same piece that Crutchfield shows. Plugs right into the CD-Changer port and it works great.

Cool - thanks for the confirmation. Site said it was for all models newer than 1999 so that must be it!

This is what I use in my boat and it also charges my iPod and I can keep it away from where it could/would get wet. You can use the up and down keys on the head unit to change playlists and the fwd/rev to change songs without touching your iPod.

Plugs into the back of the head unit into the CD changer port which is also where you could connect an HD or Sirius radio tuner also.

I just noticed in your profile that you ride at Joe Pool Lake and that is where I ride. Let me know and I can show you how I have the iPod set up on my boat. I keep it at the Oasis dry storage.

He says above he needs his Zune to plug in...not an IPOD... so that one wouldn't work.

Getting a universal plug is the only way to go IMO. Check this bad boy out:
