Old     (robd)      Join Date: May 2009       09-25-2009, 8:34 PM Reply
anyone know when they are gonna start advertise the 2010 boots? like all the rest of the 2010 gear
Old     (wakerider111)      Join Date: Jul 2006       09-25-2009, 9:43 PM Reply
well it is in the alliance mag, so i cant understand why they wouldn't want it to "leak yet"
plus Mckee works for alliance, so i cant see the mention of them in the mag being a mistake either.

but i am feeling that a release of info on both boots ought to be coming real real soon. especially with the mention of the mccormics demo

they are really keeping these things a secret haha

Saw the protos the other day, and I hate to tell you Kyle, but these are on a whole different level than anything else you've ever worn. They're lighter, lower, better designed, easier to strap up, and more durable than anything else. Get ready.
Old     (k2rider2690)      Join Date: Apr 2009       10-08-2009, 7:39 PM Reply
do you know when they are actually going to be released to the public?
Old     (joshbuzz)      Join Date: Sep 2007       10-08-2009, 8:23 PM Reply
It's always unknown, can't say anything specific right now.

From what I heard, Slingshot will drop some new product every six weeks. They have something else coming that if off the hook.

that lacing system is a major pain in the ass on Marek boots.

kyle! when are you guys gonna release info on your 2010 boots?
Old     (irishrider92)      Join Date: Jun 2009       10-26-2009, 3:45 PM Reply
I emailed SS a couple of weeks ago and they said;

"Slingshot has decided to take the boots in a new direction, which will indeed eliminate the D3 and PB Floyd.
As for a release date, since most regions are going into the off season, and an overabundance of closeout priced boots, we've decided to launch the new boots as a spring release."

Don't get in a hurry and buy another boot, they will be out soon, and they will be dope. Trust the people you support, and follow all your SS riders on twitter and you may be able to catch a couple sneak peaks of the new gear...

I saw the 2010 boots the other day and they look sick! Alot less bulky, easy to get into, and pretty stiff...

Yeah..they are pretty much freaking awesome!

quick question, do the liners still come out very easily? This was the biggest problem I had with the last season. After a while the liner would come out every time you exited the bindings, especially at cable.
Old     (joshbuzz)      Join Date: Sep 2007       10-28-2009, 7:17 PM Reply
All I can say is in the closed toes, the liners are made to come out easily and be worn like shoes. Just wait and see, they're going to be amazing.

still waiting for click in style bindings or something similar to snowboard systems. For cable it would be amazing, for boat it would have advantages and disadvantages
