Cleaning Boat Cushions

Im looking to remove some stains from a bow cushion. Anyone have any good luck with a certain cleaning product? I was thinking about trying some Babes Seat Soap?

here are your answers in no particular order.... Malco, Totally Awesome, 303, Babe's, Boat Bling.......... If the stains are real bad you are going to want to go with Malco or Totally Awesome. There is about a 50 post thread on the differences/similarities of the 2 products.

We actually used resolve with oxiclean on ours a week or so ago, it did 100 times better than babes did. It cleaned everything, the stitching even looks brand new. WE took a toothbrush and went over eachone really well, then went over it with a rag. Kind of happened by accident since we were cleaning up rust stains from where our anchor chain had left them.

Magic eraser also works good on some of the stains....

Ack! Do not use Magic Eraser except as a last resort... and even then you are probably just better living with the stain. Magic Eraser is a micro-abrasive, and using it will remove the top protective layer of your vinyl. Your risk of the vinyl cracking will go up exponentially if you use Magic Eraser.

Hopefully you have only used it on small spots, not over all the vinyl as a general cleaner. It is possible you get lucky, but I used it to clean up one of my former boats and the vinyl cracked the next season. I know others that this has happened to as well. Since then, I will not use Magic Erasers except on glass or my house walls, because worst case there is I have to paint.
