I'm 14 and am have problems with my jump. ive got plenty of distance and can go wake to wake easily, but im not gettin that much height...any suggestions?

Body position when leaving the wake will directly reflect you pop. Check out the higher education section of the July issue of wakeboarding mag. Josh Sanders goes over correct body position.

Patience, too...blazing into the wake also doesn't give as much time for it to push you up.

Had the same problem too....Proper technique, and ease up on my approach, gave instant results...Now if can just keep doing it that way, things will be ok....

Learn to clear the wake with as short of a cut as possible. To make up for the shorter cut and the speed you loose, edge harder up the wake.

There's a good chance you're hitting it with the slalom skier mentallity, cut as hard as you can instantly and try to hold on to the speed, the result is that when you hit the wake your board isn't at the best angle and more often than not you're flattening out. If you can post some video and we can better suggest what to correct.

Remember progressive edge, build speed into the wake, don't flatten out, and stand tall at the top of the wake.
