I have an 05 Moomba LSV. I recently upgraded my v-drive sacs to the 550lbs on each side. So right now im running 550lb on each side in the v-drive and 350lbs in locker, with a 150lbs tractor weight under the very front seat.

My question is. I have 2 250lbs sacs that came from the stock set up, and would like to put them somewhere. Does anyone have any experience putting these somewhere in the boat? Would like to throw them under my front two seats but the LSV has very small storage, and would be barely able to fill them. Right now i am thinking of putting one or both in the aisle. Should i put them towards the front or the middle of the boat?

Front, Moomba's like front weight. Try to keep it 50/50 for the best wake. If you give it too much rear weight it will roll over and be hard to clean up.

I did the same thing and put the two stock bags up front and filled them as much as i could under the seats. Makes a huage difference, and Nick is right, your going to want more weight up front. I'm also getting another bag to put in the walkway.

that's going to be too much weight in the bow. Try 1 of the 550s, see how the wake is, then adjust from there. You may be able to throw one of the 550s in the middle of the rear seat. YOu just have to play around and find the right configuration.

Thanks for the info. So are you guys suggesting maybe i take the 150lb tractor weight out of the bow and try and fill my sacs up as much as i can under the seats?

I say leave the tractor weight. if your crew is like mine no one wants to sit up front. lets say you get those 2 250 pound bags up to 200 pounds filled each, there is 400, now add the 150 tractor weight we have 550 pounds up front. two v-drive bags at 550 each equals 1100 pounds. you are looking for a 60/40 ratio. you have a 75/25 ratio with what you have now. more weight needed up front if you are running that much in the back, or else youll have to ride around with your wakeplate down so your boat doesnt porpoise all over the place, negating much of the weight you have in the back and burning extra gas for no reason.....
