NVS and Malibu?

Can you hang the NVS 1010 from the center bar on the Illusion tower? I know that Malibu has those inside attachments but I have a set of 1010;s that would have to hang like normal speakers do. Do you guys know what I am talking about?

I have seen a set of addictions hanging from an Illusion but not 1010s. I have 1010s hanging from my Titan III!

Jason, when you say hanging you mean from the cross bar not the side mounts that Malibu has come up with right?

Yes, I once saw a VLX with an Illusion tower that had a pair of addictions hanging from the cross bar. I would email Dwayne at NVS as ask him. He can tell you if 1010s will fit. My guess is that they won't. Even if they did, I think head clearance would be a serious issue.

your better off with the Liquid Trends boxes and pods on the illusion tower. the make boxes with the horns now as well. they look way better and sounds just as good if not better with the right am setup.

they also are way more out of your way than the NVS setup

The addictions are the NVS solution for the Illusion tower. There are two flavors of addictions, standard or custom euro, talk to Todd or Duane, they will hook you up. Todd ordered his VLX special with a Titan II tower so he could run two entity's

If you are not dead set on NVS, you can also run with the wetsounds double up configuration.

Just re-read your original post, didn't catch that you already had the 1010's... I would look for somebody with addictions and try to make the trade.

I've replied to your email explaining that you can put the Entitys on the Illusion, it however may or may not meet your needs.
For those demanding the highest perfromance rider system, we are however providing Illusion towers with the Deviant speaker that will attach to the crossing tube and still provides an opening between them of 17 or more inches. At only 8.60 inch hang height it (or the Prodigy) has the shortest hang height of all Pro Audio tower speakers. Add the "No Tools" quick release and you won't have to worry about theft. Just somme options to think about.
