i looked threw the threads to see if there was already a video thread but i didnt see one. so anyways, i have to make a video for school and put music in the background and things like that, i was wondering what programs you us. thanks alot.

i use ulead mediastudio pro 6.5, do you not have any software for this. I made a video when i was in high school, but i only used sony movieshaker which was on the computer already, I then had to make a senior video and thats when i got ulead mediastudio.

ive never even heard of ulead, but i use premiere pro and i think its an excellent program. may be more powerful than you need, but worth checking out. i believe they also have a student/teacher program that you can buy it cheaper through.

Luke it sounds like ur just trying to make a vid to get an A in some classs??? NOthing too hightech. IF i was u, i would just download off the interenet!! but if u wanna buy something thats cheap and way kickasss check out vegas by sonicfoundry, i think the site is www.sonicfoundry.com if not just google it
its only like 3hundred. way cheap compared to some of the others

i use movieshop by broderbund and it's super easy to use and pretty powerful.

if you want to really get into editing get final cut or advid and nothing else compares to it.

Avid Media Composer is King of the Hill, but Avid DV is the best for home applications. Just ask George Lucas or Peter Jackson.

AVid is the best, hands down for sure, adobe....if when you through pro in front of it, well....no in the industry uses it sooo i dunno

i work for an outdoor programming firm that produces shows for ESPN, The Outdoor Channel, and The Golf Channel.

we do it all, pre though post.
