I just bought myself a 12 inch Premier sub - my question is, should i secure the sub in the closed bow or will it be okay just putting it on the floor? if it should be secure, what and how should I secure it?

If you have room try and put it under the driver console.

definitely no room under the driver console and I don't want to rip apart the kick panel.

I have mine secured into the floor under my closed bow using 2 l brackets screwed into the floor. Never had any problems with it moving... I have my amp mounted to the back of the sub box... Tight space, and its all condensed into one box... Works great and it bacically makes the whole bow a sub box! BOOM! I'll try and get a pic tonight and post it.
