Another Perfect Pass Question

Yesterday, my PP started to act up on me. I looked at the dash and noticed that my PP display was showing eight squares rather than the normal display. No speed, no nothing - just eight boxes. Pressing any button resulted in a "beep," but that's it. No "off," no "on," no nothing. It came on twice as it should, but other than that - just the weird display.

Anyone?

call PP, that reminds me of the little bird that use to fly around your PC screen. when the bird came the computer was jacked.
