Its right at 75 feet long (with out the swim step). The CA class A w/ doubles is 75' so I need to take off the step when towing but 2 pins is worth having my own bed and a lake front spot.

How do you back that up if you need to? I'd be nervous driving that set up although I'd feel like the king of the world.

Just stay away from dead end streets. Stay with the 18 wheelers and your OK. Got in a jam once in a parking lot because there were carts every where but did not need to unhook, just a couple of lookouts on the corners.

What length is your fifth wheel? Did you have to modify the rear for a hitch?

I would look like a jack@ss driving that setup. I'd have that thing twisted up like a pretzel.

Yep had a class fab up a my local hitch shop wired all of the lights to match the connection on the truck and off we go.

The 5er is 28 feet which is the longest the middle trailer can be when towing doubles.

Bryan, great to see you're doing well! Nice boat for sure! You had the yellow Supra before right? Hope you're running Super in them A/C units this time of year :-)

Derek - long time no ride, yep sold the SSV and went a little bigger with the 23 LSV. Do you still have the Epic?

The funny thing about MPG with the duramax is it does not care if its 5,000# or 15,000# it still gets 10 mpg. I did install the 55 gal arrow tank just for the peace of mind.

Duramax...tomorrow our Sequoia will be going up the Indio grade in second gear and 55 mph - that's like 4500 rpm. It's kinda like when we've got to chain up in the snow because we couldn't spring for the $45K 4x4 (they only came trimmed way up). Hey, 4500 rpm a few times a year is not a big deal, and we'll get our trusty 10.5 mpg towing, but sheesh when the Heavy D rolls by in fourth gear we're feeling a little hillbilly. Lord help us if we tried to pull the Mobile Condo :-0

Sweet. I didn't think that was legal in Cali, regardless of length

It's only legal w/ a fifth wheel hooked to the truck then a ball to the second trailer. It isn't legal if it's ball hook up and ball hook up.
