I used to have one for my old pole. I didn't have much of a problem with the rope hanging up. It was a pretty good rack.

I have one. The rope gets caught on it every once in a while when someone else is driving. But you could always move it down the pylon.

Overall I am happy with it.

Walt, whats up? I got one and if you lower it down to bimini level it won't catch, unless someone else is driving.

Walt, I have one that I probably going to sell if you're interested. Planning on installing a Monster Tower next week and I won't need the SkyJac as I believe it's called.

The rope will get hung up from time to time, but I just made it a point to keep an eye on it, no big deal. I've been very happy with it.

STAY AWAY! we had that rack on our last boat and the bolts shiered (sp?) off while we were riding, and before that happened the boards would rattle and really rattle over double ups. don't get me wrong, skylon is a good company i just didn't care for that model.
