Talk about a bad day. Check this out. Click on the video. It took a while for it to load for me.

That walmart comerical in the begining was a joke, working with local suppiliers my a$$. Even the fish in the grocery say from China on the package. Even with a 3 meg connection I found it best to let the video play once, then actully watch it again so it would have to keep buffering. That is a freaky story

I live in Austin, and have been watching this story evolve on the news each evening.

Pretty scary stuff. My wife's worst nightmare, so she's freaked watching it.

Here's a story from last night about the 911 call someone made, video with it.

All these have a free video link.

Today they were supposed to release the 911 call the guy himself made, after he went through the flood gate, got carried downstream, and managed to make his way to someone's apartment for help.

The force of the water as he was being sucked through the flood gate ripped his clothes off...

I work for Austin/Travis County EMS and we do swiftwater and boat training below that damn when they open the flood gates. There are so many rocks and concrete undercuts in the spillway it is amazing that guy is alive, much less unhurt. Nice boat driving by the Parks Police .... now if they would just stop writing tickets for surfing......
