Stereo Shop question

Im going to add tower speakers to my boat this week. Do stereo shops have a problem installing equiptment if its not all bought from them. I was also thinking about doing it myself but ive never wired in a seperate volume control before and am a little nervous about getting the power/ohms right

Most Shops I know of will install equipment you bring to them. The will obviously not warranty anything except the install, but they will put it in for you

trevor-make sure you take your boat to a boat audio store. cars a wired differently and if a car audio store does the install they can screw your wiring up in your boat pretty badly. where in cali are you? Liquid Trends does a great job and produce some of the loudest boat stereos out there. they have quite a few shops as well. santa clara, modesto, fairfield. they are all in norcal but if you come up here the lakes and delta are great to ride

they will usually charge you a little higher labor rate but it all depends.

I dont mind that. Was really hoping to get it done in town but the whole thing about the auto shops screwing it up has me a little worried now
