I live on the Oregon coast, and have been having a hard time getting people that want to go wakeboarding and can also drive a boat consistently. I have my own boat, and am always willing to give pulls...in hopes of getting one myself. I do have a few friends that i allow to drive for me, but schedules dont work out near as often as id like.

i was thinking along the lines of trying to set up some kind of a club or group of riders that would be into boarding...i know there are quite a few around that would be willing to Just triyng to find them and get a bunch of us together on a regular basis is the trick.

Does anyone have any input or tips that may help? Thanks Frank

We use facebook for this, we've set up a group for the crew and just post up session times, then it's first come first served.
Our current crew is 3 decent drivers and 9 non-drivers, this usually works out well, normally get 2 decent drivers and 2 or 3 non-drivers per session which is perfect, everyone

New riders get introduced by existing crew, if they fit the group and aren't an idiot they get invited to join the facebook group and regular crew.

Gulf Coast Wakeboarding Association is a group from Houston. We have a website and Facebook page along with a forum and host events a few times a year. Great place for meeting 3rds, being 3rds or jut meeting people with the same hobby.
