Quick update: For those who don't know how to get to the Moon Lake Marina, take
hwy 165 north off Interstate 20, go through the town area and turn left on LA 553,
follow that around and take a left on Horseshoe Lake Rd. and then follow the
signs to the marina. If you have any questions the phone number at the marina is
318-322-2300.

Moon lake marina will also have food ( hamburgers, hot dogs, red beans and
rice, and jambalaya); they will also have an assortment of flavors of beverages
on hand.

Night Time Activities: Thursday and Saturday will be held at the Top Gun Night
club. Take the Desaird exit off of 165 heading west, Desaird will turn into
Louisville, continue on to North 19th where you will turn right and Top Gun will
be down a couple of blocks on your right.

The party for Friday night will be at the Library Lounge which is also off of
the Desaird exit only you will head east, and the bar will be right after the
college on your left.

Hope to see you at LSF 2005!

I want to go but I don't want to tow my boat to Monroe. I live in New Orleans about 8 hrs away. Will anyone let me ride with them if I come? I will help pay for gas.

Leo, you are welcome to hop in with us in my SSV. We will be getting there Friday morning around 10 or 11.

Leo, it looks like you already have a ride, but FYI New Orleans is only 300 miles from Monroe. It's actually closer than Memphis, which is where a lot of us are coming from. It's not bad towing a boat, all highway, so it goes by fast. I think it takes 4 1/2 to 5 hours with a boat. If you can find room, you can grab a pull sometime behind my boat, red/black X-star... you can't miss it, and you'll definitely hear it.}

I just don't want to get there and not have a pull. I might have a friend come too. Both of us will pay our share in gas.

The reason I don't want to tow the boat is because I don't have enough money or a good enough job to tow it and ride it at the same time, haha. So thanks for anyone offering a pull. How can I get in touch with you?
