my first invert

I just got back from a trip up to lake nacimiento, and stomped my first HS backroll. I'm pretty stoked, unfortunately I didnt get it on film because my camera died on the boat. I do have film of decent attempts though, which Ill post when I get the video on my computer.

Congrats Corey! I remember my first tantrum like its yesterday as well...although it was 2 years ago. I still have to land a backroll...one of these years :-)

Ahh yes, I landed my first invert at Nacimiento as well, some 10 years ago. Congrats, now take it to revert! }

Good job man!!!! Nice feeling to be upside down and land!!! I did may first HS BR a month ago and my first tantrum the week after!!! It give the self-confidence to push harder and land other trick or, at least, try it!!! Never give up!!!

Alright. Heres the video. Sorry about the watermark, I got this weird format, and Im too cheap to buy the program.

As you can see, I let go of the rope before I landed, and I kept landing on the wake because I took em slower speeds so our wake was a bit bigger. I also over rotated a little, but eventually I got it and nabbed one!
