I will have a spin pretty much dialed w2w with little line tension, so I want to take it bigger and into the flats. Thus I load the line harder and end up pitching over the nose on landing. I am always on axis, just over the nose, what gives? I have seen guys like Lyman, Greenwood, Harris, Etc. take these tricks big and into the flats, what am I doing that results in my landing over the nose? Is it just adding more weight to my back foot on the cut in?

Thanks.

Make sure you are still taking off of your back foot a bit like you should on a regular wake to wake spin. Also, a grab helps because you will time it better.

Thanks, I will try to really focus on coming off my back foot more. I would say its not so much timing since the rotation is right on, I usually dont over-rotate, just land with all my weight on my lead foot.

When I say timing, I mean spinning to early off the wake. That makes you land on your front foot also.

Ahhh, alright. I am pretty positive that wouldnt be the case on the BS 180s since I dont even start that rotation until at the peak coming down. Maybe on the 3's and 5's tho.

Thanks again.
