I have a 98 supra comp and I am going to make my own tower, I was looking for any advise or tips. I am planning on using 2" tubing, but I was woundering where I can get the hardware to mount it to the boat. I am thinking on a swoop style, but will see what I think when I start building.

Depends on what hardware you need. I found and old swoop without the legs. I built them of 2" stainless. If you plan on lowering it, most can be found at an industrial hardware supplier. Don't even waste your time at Home Depot.

1 1/2 sch 40 pipe 6063 alloy, would be the norm in the 2" range (1.875 O.D. 1.61 I.D.) you will find more available fittings with that size Pipe. bullettower.com also sells fittings and they are made in USA baby!
