I know for some tricks you need a special handel. But what exactly makes a wraped handel diferant from a regular handel? And why coulden't you do a wraped trick with a regular? Seems like it would all work the same way.

Thanks,
Dave

A wrapped handle has a smaller handle a couple foot in to hold on to. When doing a wrapped trick you use the little handle (with one hand)until you want to spin. Then you let go of the little handle and keep holding onto the big handle (which is wrapped behind your back). This eliminates having to pass the handle.
I guess i didn't do a very good job explaining.
So basically it gives you something to hold onto when the handle is wrapped behind your back.

Jeremy you did good.

Dave - it is very hard to "wrap" the handle without a wrap handle because you would have to be holding on to bare rope. Will it work, maybe, would I want to try? HELL NO.

i will interject that it looks pretty silly to have a wrapped handle and not use it. I'll never buy one because I won't use it. of course, it doesn't matter how you look, as long as you are having fun. I suppose I am trying to say, save your money unless you think you are going to use the wrap a lot.

Ok, thanks guys. I wasn't planning on buying one, or even useing one for that matter. I was just under the trick tips at wakeboarder.com and noticed some tricks said you needed it. Me being stupid and all got kinda curious to what this might be. And now I know, so... thanks!
