Hi,

- Have attached a few pictures which show the wiring on the isolator on my Sanger. I figure there must be a better way to do things and im interested in how others have done it.

Running a single isolator with two batteries, the isolator running directly into the amp rack (3 amps) with the ballast pump power running off there also.

Id be keen for any advice.

- Second issue is my sub box. The Sanger floor is raised in the corner and ive struggled to try and make the box 100% level. Ideally id like to have it raised off the ground so i can put my feet underneath it.

Any ideas or tips on how to make some mounts to level the box? Pictures are of the box and the mounting plate, which will be getting modified to fit a heater.

Your amp rack power supply doesn't need to run off of your isolator. It will clean up your switch a little if you just run straight from your stereo battery bank.

thanks for the reply. was hoping not to do that as i have the headunit also running from the amp rack to get common grounds. the headunit when i have left it on in the past has drained the batteries nicely which is something id rather avoid at the lake.

any other ideaS?

If your isolator is a traditional dual-battery switch with 1/BOTH/2?OFF positions, then the ideal configuration is to have the amps' B+ connected to the common (boat side) of the switch and not directly to the a battery. If you isolator is something else, then please elaborate.

Hi mike, typical isolator as you have described.each battery is ground at the bottom of the isolator along with a ground for the ballast pumps. It is wired as you have described, just thought there must ge a better way....

id also love some ideas on mounting the bix level
