i often take the fabric off my cargo rack if i am towing very far but does anyone know what the max towing speed is with it left up

I've towed from 30-75 mph for about 1.5 hours with no problems. the fabric doesn't even move in the wind.

yeah i leave mine and it does just fine.. i have hit 80 mph with it on...

same for me, never had any probles at all with it. Just make sure it's adjusted so you dont have it angled up much in the front as it would act like a sail.

i have towed mine at 70, i was just curious what the company says about towing speeds

The tag on mine says not to exceed 45mph.
I have towed at 65 and 70 also

www.supraboats.com is that the one you are looking for? i towed mine 3-1/2 hours each way last weekend at speeds up to 75mph with no problems. (other than some bug carnage on the leading edges)

I just towed with mine on at speeds of 75-80 with no movement at all for five hours. I would say you don't need to take off the fabric.

2400 mls. @ 65 to 70 mph with no damage, it tows very well.
