unwinterized ballast pump

So because im unintelligent and lazy, i forgot to winterize my ballast pumps so I was wondering what will come of my 3 simmer blue water pumps due to the freezing cold temperatures that Massachusetts has experienced lately...Im moving to florida in 2 weeks so I they wont be out in the cold for much longer.\

Will they still work or are they shot?

If in doubt, stick a "fake-a-lake" up to the scoop and run a little marine/RV anti-freeze through them.

If you have clear hoses, look and see if you have water standing on top of the pumps, If so, pull the hoses off and kick pumps on for about 10 seconds.

ya, they won't turn over right now, I've tried. but it could be a weak battery

Yeah, throw a charger on your battery(s) as a dead batt will freeze and will need to replace in the Spring.

Are your air temps below freezing all day? I would bet those pumps would stand a freezing and thaw out and work ok.
