According to the manual the break in is 10 hours. I have been really good with it and extra cautious to do everything it said. I am now at 10 hours. It just flipped tonight. With this done and I go full out now and accelerate normally for pulling without worries or should I ease into that? I want to do the right thing but I would like to start riding.

Thanks for the help

That thing is ready to rip. If you're going to add more than stock ballast, I would ease into it. By 20 hours it's game on! Enjoy!

Remember that your boat may continue to burn oil for the next 10 to 30 hours. Make sure you check it after each time out.

its a new boat, if it hasn't broken yet than you`ll be ok. As far as im concerned the break in is total BS. I have lots of buddies that from hour 1 threw in boards and skis and haven`t had problem one with oil consumption or eng problem's. Change your oil and enjoy your boat.

Run for an extended time at maximum speed. You have not yet polished the rings at the extremes of their travel and that will do it. Enjoy.
...and change the oil and filter.

My dealer told me to use my new boat as if it had 100 hrs on it. The only thing you need to be concerned with for the 1st 20 hours is idling or full throttle for a long period of time.
