I have done it with an old Hyperlite Pro directional board. I was never able to stay up without the rope for more that 30 seconds but it was fun to try.

Did it on my 133 fish last year, not really fun, very challenging. did manage to go without the rope and won a bet with my friend.

its alot harder because theres less surface area and less flotation if you could get a good wake at higher speeds it would probably work better

My friend did it last year.. but he weighs like 100 pounds and is probably 5'3"

I'd never be able to.
