I have a 2003 22 SS. For that year Supra put in one pump hooked directly to the elbow fitting of the pickup grate. It then feed to a manifold that has 2 flow switches to send the water to the front or rear tank. I am curious if anybody knows what size pump this is? GPH rating. Has anybody replaced there factory pump and put in something that has a higher GPH output? What did you use? Mine works, but takes some doing to get it to prime, and forever to fill a 600# front sack and 4-500 rear tank. I think Supra used the same system on both the SS and SSV in that year 03?

It should be a 2000 gph pump.

Really!! My portable Tsunami 1200gph that you pulg in the cigarette lighter feels like it pumps ALOT faster then that. I tried calling the factory to find out and got lost in Voice mail!

I just put a Rule 4000gph pump in my 21V, and it's much faster than the 2000. It's REALLY fast when your driving and filling.

It doesn't bolt right up, I had to get some 1 1/2" I.D. tubing for the inlet and exit. I also had to get some fittings from Home Depot to make it work. Here are some pics for you.

Is this the Rule 4000 bilge pump? Is yours the bilge pump with the plastic grate removed? My factory one has a snap connect for the wiring. Does rule pumps come with this or did you have to splice the wiring.

I actually got it from a buddy of mine and it didn't have the grate. I just spliced into the original wiring so it would plug right into the stock plug.

do you think yours is the rule 4000 model or the 3700 model. How quickly does it prime for you. IE: when you first put boat in water, flick the switch while your are sitting there not moving does it prime right up and start pumping? or.. do you have to be moving to force the water in to get it to prime then pump?

Mine is the 4000. With both of the Supra's that I've had, I've had to get going a big to get it to go, but I think that is only because of the scoop thru hull. If if had a non-scoop version I don't think that I would have to drive to get it going.
