I see your name, is that for Possum Kingdom? That is my home lake. I ride there, or Granbury lake.

Trinity stands alone. It is the only secret spot I know of where everyone is invited. And the only place I know of where you can get butter on the fourth of July. 50 miles of smooth water and gators.

PK is my favorite lake - down by the dam along the cliffs is the smoothest water I have found. Also in Texas, Lake LBJ is really nice (during the week). We rented a house on the lake one summer and seemed to be the only people on the lake during the week. I can see the weekends on that lake are probably really packed, some really nice homes along that lake...... I've also wanted to go to Lake Amistead near the Mexico boarder - anyone been there? http://www.lakeamistadmarina.com/

Amistad is awesome up the devils river arm of the lake. you have to go at the right time though. It gets crowded on weekends.

East Texas isn't too bad. Got lake palestine, lake Tyler, and the Brazos for river riding. lake Pirkey (power plant) for those Dec/Jan sessions. Doesn't really matter where you are, you can find some decent water. 10 lakes within an hour.

Lots of great riding in the DFW area and a new cable park projected to open April of 09. Yes I am a part of this cable park and will release more info next month, when we start digging out the lake. Dave I will send you an email in the next couple weeks, to talk with you about this project. This is all I will say at this point of the project, but we will release more info soon.

Caddo?! Yikes! I've only been there once (not the lake but some creepy part on one of the fingers of the lake I guess) and we saw so many "critters" in that water! We even had a snake fall from one of those trees into our friends canoe. You couldn't pay me to get into that water!

That's what is so great about Caddo, you will be the only boat and rider in the water! Total glass all the time! The alligators and snakes don't mind if you wakeboard as long as you don't grind on them...

Thanks for the replies, I spend my summers at Possum Kingdom, that is what pk stands for...The riding is good around the dam and hells gate especially during the week. Weekends are busy most of the time. Now im suffering in San Angelo. Not diggin the water out at Lake Nasworthy. Is cable better than behind a boat?

If you ever get a chance to hit the Trinity, Call Bethy Creek Resort and ask for Randall Jr. It is off of Hwy 19. Take a tour of the Trinity and see what we are talking about. It is absolutely killer. I know we spend allot of time on the pedernalis river and this by far is better and lots of butter. Memorial day weekend on the pedernalis is like an ocean, The T is killer. So we have been hitting that allot

Caddo is home to the largest fresh water gator so everyone should stay far away from it. The snakes and swamp monsters are pretty big too. It is also covered in stumps that eat props..............

I was home on vacation the first 3 weeks in September and they were out everytime I was. I saw them wakeboarding once and was gonna ask for a pull but whoever was boarding fell and threw a fit like a 2 year old about it so I didn't feel the time was good. I was in the 98 tige with black tower.

Bret J.T. is a great guy, he would give you a pull anytime. Throwing a fit like a 2 yr old, yeah that sounds like a few riders that go out with J.T. hahaha.

Sam, I see you get the message. Really just kidding as caddo is still a hidden gem. No one really knows about it and most people freak when they see it so it will probably stay that way. The pictures above pretty much shows exactly what its like. The largest cypress swamp in the US.
