They need 300 watts or your wasting your money buying them, IMO. Will that amp give them that? No use spending $3K on speakers and then cheaping out on an amp to power them. You will be disappointed in the sound if you under power them.

As a minimum - you want to throw 200 watts at them. You really won't get the max out of the Rev 10's at that power range but if you are on budget or have an amp laying around....it will meet the minimum.

I below the rear channel in a Amp that was giving each Rev 10 about 400 watts. I had to take it down to 4 ohm stereo which gave each Rev 10 about 125 watts until I could get a new amp...I was shocked how loud they were at even 125 watts.

How is it configured? How much will each speaker get? if its like 100-125 watts you are wasting your money on the Rev10. Maybe one set at 250 each, but thats marginal even then. I have 300 watts to rev8's.

Mike,

What model Rockford 2 chnl are you asking about? "500 Watt" is more of a marketing thing.

The T600-2 driving 2 pair of speakers would deliver 150W rms to each. No where close to pushing a 10" HLCD to its potential.

Not really good to underpower your speakers. The amps wont have enough power and it will cause distortion which will shorten the life of your speakers... or they just wont sound like they should. If you got the rev 10's get the right amp, you will be much happier.

Grab 2 of these if your on a budget.... They won't have any problem pushing those rev 10s. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=321122880676

^^^I use the same amp on my REV 10s and I'm real happy with it. I have no problems with it at all.
