Came across this video and found it quite funny how they manage to put down inboards in any way imaginable. And I also don't understand how they can promote wakesurfing the way they do behind an I/O...
That Chaparral seems like a great boat but it's lame that they are trying to sell it by saying all things that are "wrong" with in inboard as opposed to focusing solely on the great things about their boat.
Most of us started on a stern drive boat. I remember adjusting the drive up and down to get the boat to plane and also trying to get the boat to stay at one speed. Hit a wake from another boat and instantly the boat would slow down. I dont miss that at all. I love my V drive and would only go back to a stern drive if it was my only option to wake board.
So i guess Chaparrel is better than all the inboards, look at all the advantages, reversing, shallow water, not having to walk on seats to get to the back, no need for all that ballast, wow i'm truly impressed....
