I'm looking at getting a new board and wanted to know how the ronix one handles when the water starts to get a little rough. I currently have the 05 byerly and think this board rides better than my friends 05 premier in rougher water. It seems that the one is similar to the premier and that makes me a little concerned. If you have ridden these boards would you let me know how they compare.

thats me!

my last board was the 04 byerly and the 05 $ 04 are very very similar.

i currently ride the 07 ronix one.

the byerly has a hull on it, it runs down the entire board, the ronix one doesnt. yesterday however i was riding in rough water and the one handles very well.

Yes I'm looking for a ronix one 142.

Its not that I like riding in rough water but by the middle of the day you always have to deal with 5-10 wind chop. And with this little amount of chop you can tell a big difference in the byerly and the premier. The Byerly handled so much better.

I heard the "one" comes with an extra set of 3" fins you can put on it to help it track better in rough water.

The One 142 rides as good as can be expected in rough water, but I agree with the others, rough water sucks! But, the board doesn't handle bad if you must ride in rough water.

The One doesn't come with extra fins...
