Gaston Lake, NC, feedback

Looking to get some feedback on Gaston lake about creeks or spots to wakeboard in Family during the week end.

We like glass water as all of us like . But we also like blue Caribbean water. Something between brown and blue, closer to blue the better, is a plus

If you also have knowledge about the best period of the year to wakeboard on this lake to avoid the 4th of July crowd.

It is a fantastic lake, I went there last year for a guys weekend, the lake is perfect, never drops be love a 1/2 of foot, so always high water levels, large area to board without traffic, can't go wrong. we planned another trip in august. I live on lake wylie in charlotte, boarder of SC and its great, but gaston has a rural feel with restaurants, outdoor bars, live music, great place to go for a trip
