I still call BS on any claims of "epic conditions" when spoken in the direction of Reno, NV. Yes, the location looks pretty epic right now, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that this shot was taken early in the morning. Post up a shot taken at about 2-3pm when people are actually riding and then we'll talk.

oh...and post up some riding pics!

The man does not lie! For the last three days, this site has been absolutely ideal! There have been some occasional breezes, but nothing major and they go pretty quickly. They could use a little more room on shore, but I'm pretty impressed with the setup.

i must admit i live in reno and it has been perfect for the past week, late afternoon breeze that leaves quick and they are on the other side of the marina this year wich is always better than the beach side for sure. so conditions are epic for sure.

Looks like the Ausies ruled. Thanks Reed and Phillip for keeping a couple of titles in USA. It doesn't surprise me, those Ausie throw down.

We were talking about teams for pro tour but how cool would it be national teams. You could have 4 teams of USA, Canada, Australia/NZ/Asia and Europe. 4 riders from each team. 4 quarter heats with one rider from each country. Top 2 advance for 2 four man semis and then a four man finals.

USA-Philip, Danny, Andrew and Shawn
Canada- Rusty, Chad, Aaron ?.
Australia/Asia- Josh, Ike, Daniel, Mitch
Europe- No idea

Roger, for your 4th Canadan rider Anthony Holick gets my vote, killed it this weekend.

It was a awesome time at the worlds. Great spending time with all the gang. CIE, CWB, DPC, Off Axis, CIRE, Paytons, WCW, the Gator Gang, and huge props to Supra/Moomba (Skiers Choice). They did a great job hosting and WWA put together a super event.
Transgression video premier was off the hook and the video is exceptional (from what I can remember) The party went into high gear after and I don't think the Nugget knew what hit it.

The weather and riding was sweet. I was disappointed in the double up event. There werent very many pro riders in it. Jacob Valdez is rediculous!

So did the water remain calm all weekend? I was in the Tahoe area and it was windy in the afternoon Saturday then really windy all night. We skipped going out on Sunday due to wind, and instead beat on my tow rig

I agree, more pics needed.

Not at all Dave, I thought I had typed you in, but in the best way to make it up to you, I had a hell of a time with the Wakeworld Master Dave Williams. I think you have some pretty good pictures too.

So when is the next W.W. get together I have way to much fun for it not to happen more often.

I was there with most of my family. First time at a pro event and we were all complete tourists; stalking legends for autographs and photos, slack-jawed at the amazing riding and just generally having a blast. Thanks to Brodie Chaboya for making us feel at home. I wish the WW crowd had an identifying shirt or hat so that I could've met more of you. I got a couple of decent photos off the kicker. If I can figure out how to get them compressed enough to post I'll get them on here.

The Transgression premiere was off the hook. Wow! Props to Gator and his team and company and Sidewayz films. I'd love to see more involvement from the Gator team in the competitions moving forward.

Yahoo Shawna! The Hoff's rock! Thanks for the pics Linda. Looks like we missed a great day on Sunday. What a classy event. My kids had a blast! Loved hangin out with all the Nor Cal folks; Paytons, Donatelli's, Hoffman's, Scagliotti's...
By the way, when Peter brought the autographed shirt to the hospital for Jeff R, the guy who broke his leg in Veteran's, Jeff was overwhelmed and teared up a little. Props to all the Pros who so graciously signed the shirt for him.

My wife and I saw a guy just about get killed on Monday morning as we were going through Reno. I was driving around 80 MPH in the fast lane (I'm sure I was really doing 65 and it just felt like 80) and cars from the middle lane started swerving from that lane to the fast and slow lanes.

Some gardener/construction guy in a old truck had stopped in the middle lane got out of his truck to retrieve a 6 ft. ladder that had fallen out. I'm not sure how far he went for the ladder but he was heading back to his POS truck with the ladder as we went by.

He may of got nailed after we passed as he still wasn't back in the cab yet. I was really glad we didn't have to witness the guy killed for his stupidity.

J-Rod, the shot your talking about is Jr. men's Worlds champ Mitch Langfield, I was sitting in my lawn chair, saw Mitch heading for the Air Force kicker, grabbed my camera, pointed and shot, pure luck to get it.

I don't know how you got those shots without me being in the frame. I was standing in the water right in front of the kicker.

I call photoshop.

Walt,

My wife actually took the pics. I just directed her not to get that "tall Guy" who was standing in the water in the pics.

We were the family from Napa that shared an elevator with you on Fri. morning. Did't realize until much later that it was the famous WCW. We will know next time.

Maybe I will run into you guys next year!

Okay, sorry about that. Two questions. First, I thought I could edit posts or remove them, for example the last two of mine so as not to clutter up the forum with mistakes; how do I do that? Second, when I looked in the help section for posting instructions I followed them but they didn't work. I'm using a macbook with Safari and iphoto. Any tips appreciated.
