We got our new Malibu 23LSV shortly before Memorial Day. We love this boat! The only thing is that the platform is slick as shnit when its wet. Anybody else have this problem? Is there anything I can do short of replacing the pad?

Thanks
k

You should have some type of rubber or foam padding on the swim platform.... From the picture, it looks like you do. Try and scrub with nylon brush and water to see what happens.

Nothing you can do except replace with pad from an 06 if thats possible. They changed the pad to slick stuff. I have fallen numeriuos times, along with many others.

Agreed with Jason. The 07' stuff feels slippery on the showroom floor. Our} 06' uses black rubber that gives really good traction even when wet.

KG, does it leave marks in the boat? I figured that might be why they changed.

From what I've heard the 05's rubber did leave trace on the on the rest of the boat but I think Bu fixed the issue. 06' have had no problems what so ever.
