the right ballast is not filling very well. we have to go pretty fast then stop and it starts filling but very slowly. could this be an impeller problem if so could replace it my self. the boat is a 2001san. thanks

Check the valve, it may not be open all the way. I had the same problem on my 01 san. Keep moving the handel till you find the sweet spot. can you hear the pump?
