I'm about to purchase a CTI Off-The-Shelf knee brace for $410 before i start riding again, but i can save $150 by going with a Bledsoe z-13 (http://bledsoebrace.com/products/Z13.asp)

I feel like i should go for the CTI just because basically every wakeboarder with a knee injury uses CTI, but is it worth the extra $150?

Please give me some input on Bledsoe braces vs CTI

Go for the CTI. I have a $2000 don joy (covered by insurance) from my orthopedic surgeon because it is "the best" and the thing is completely worthless in the water. Falls off after one trick. The CTI braces are made for action sports and will keep your knee safer than any brace out there. My doc didn't even know what CTI was lol.

I have both minicus torn and my Acl is completely gone on my left knee. My doctor told me the only thing holding my knee together is the arthritis. It is so bad they have to do a complete replacement but I am only 45 and they want to wait 10 years before doing it. So now here it is I bought a off the shelf CTI and I can ride. It helps huge!! I would highly recommend it. It says on all day without moving and is very comfortable. I just leave it on all day while chillin in the boat.

I have a CTI custom and love it. I use it whenever I do anything now. It has helped my riding completely by keeping my knee stabilized and honestly increased my confidence to land things. I used an off the shelf for a while while they were re-fitting my custom and I have no complaints on it either. I am very happy with CTI. They have taken care of me for sure.

Ive had ACL reconstruction on both knees. since that time Ive been using the custom CTI2's. after 10 years I am needing a new set and getting fitted next week. they cost way too much but its a small price to pay to be able to keep riding.
