At this stage, I wouldn't get too hung up on the board -- LF Shane 2010 (and any modern board, really), should pop fine. If you're not getting the pop, it's likely not the board, but technique.
Without seeing you ride, it's hard to advise, but if you haven't already, learn how to ollie, then slowly ride into the wake with a short approach and really concentrante on standing up as you ride up the wake, with a bit of ollie off the top. Don't worry about clearing the other wake, focus on going up, not the distance. When everything comes together, you should feel trampoline like upward push off the wake.
Once you get that, then start cutting out more and hitting the wake with more speed to get the distance. Play with line tension at the wake. Depending on the trick, you'll want more or less, but you always want to be standing up as you ride up the wake to maximize pop.
