From the 13 to 17 Oct, I had the privilege of attending the annual INT League US championships. This year in Bakersfield CA. Over the 4 days of competition, 425 skiers, wakeboarders, and kneeboarders from around the United States gave their best. Wakeboarding/Kneeboarding divisions included every division from Mini outlaw (7years old and younger) to outlaw. Youngest competitor (kneeboarder) 4 years old. Oldest competitor(skier) 70. Also attending and giving the crowd a thrill were Gerry Nunn, Tino Santori, Wes Brisco, Wade Cox, and Brandy Harris . I would like to thank the national sponsors for helping to put this event on Malibu, Correct Craft, Mastercraft, Moomba, Tige, HO/Hyperlite, Samson Sports, Straight Line, Nevin, Hydroslide, Moose Juice and if I have forgotten any one, I apologise because I am old and doing this from memory.

It was a great time. The level competition has really gone up. It's fun to watch these 7 year olds tearing it up! In the masters division (30 & up) there were 5 or 6 guys doing inverts. In years past only a couple guys were trying.

Brandy Harris was there? Is that Randy's little sister?

Yea it was alot of fun and alot of work, but well worth it. Thanks for all of your support and the pros that where there, where, Brandi Hunt, Wade Cox, Jamie Brouchese?, Jason Parades, Ryan Wolf, Gerry Nunn, Tino Santori, Evan Lykes and Brian Frances. The riding was outstanding and seems to get better every year. Take care

INT definitely has a good thing going- The contest seemed to go off without too many problems
Changing the format from two rounds plus Finals to just best of two rounds kinda sucked though...

The best news for INT is the addition of at least three more states next year! Southern California, Arizona and New York will all have tounaments next year!!

I must agree with Jeff Bridges 2 rounds and no finals certainly is not what it is all about. Making it through the tournament to ride again on Saturday was it.

The rest of the event was great. A good show for anyone. If you have not been to an opening ceramony for INT Nationals it is AWESOME.

Bring back the best of the best to ride on Saturday.
