Illusion tower is loose... a few questions

anyone know how to take off the side panels on an 05 VLX? the Illusion tower is loose and there are 3 bolts that come through with a backing plate. i can get to 2 of them but the 3rd seems to require the side panel coming off since it is directly underneath the side speaker.

i tried themalibucrew.com but it wont let me post and i dont get any responses from the admins as to WHY.. thanks in advance

remove the speaker and try to reach it thru the speaker hole.

Remove the speaker, and try it that way. I recently changed my illusion tower, including base plates, and didn't need to remove the side panels.

i will try but you need to be able to get an extension and ratchet to tighten.
