Shawn goes in for his second surgery today to remove the unwanted hardware from his Tib/Fib. He broke his leg at a DRA comp last summer.

I had mine taken out in June. By far best thing I ever did for my leg. It already feels so much better. I will be ready to ride in two weeks.
DO IT you will not be disseminated, not gonna lie though it hurts like hell for a few days after.

dang brotha thats some hardware right there. you should frame it and keep it like a trophy. glad your doing good bro. so do you have a lot more rehab to do? were you rehabing with the hardware in? when do you get to ride again. lates B.

Thanks Bryan, hope all is well you! Funny you say that Im actually gonna frame the hardware along with the xrays and a wakeboard pic...LOL! Was all done rehabbing but the last 4 months I felt like I was getting worse. Alot of sharp pains in the knee...almost like poking and rubbing on the inside. So doc said I could finally take it out, he wanted to wait at least one year to do so. Al wasnt kidding about the pain. This shiat is SORE! Prolly wont ride for at least 6-8 weeks I would think. Need to build up some strength.....thanks again!
